Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Illinois Army National Guard has a requirement for portable shower and hand washing services that will require a vendor to provide portable showers and hand washing facilities, includ ing setup, erection, maintenance and cleaning of the shower and hand washing facilities between 5 June and 28 June 2008 to Fort Chaffee, Fort Smith, AR. Solicitation Number W91SMC-08-T-0004 will be available on or about 28 March 2008 at our web site http: //www.nationalguardcontracting.org/ebs/advertisedsolicitations.asp. Completed proposals must be submitted to the USPFO for Illinois no later than 12:00 PM, local time, 1 May 2008. The projected contract award date is on or about 7 May 2008. Eventual contra ct award will be based on Past Performance and Price and vendors should be prepared to submit a quote that they feel will best support our requirements. Vendors must be able to comply with Armed Forces sanitary standards. Contractors will be responsible f or the set-up, erection, fueling, hauling of potable and grey water to and from Government provided loading/unloading facility, maintenance and cleaning. The Government will provide diesel fuel for the portable showers, but not for vehicles. All contract ors and subcontractors interested in this project must register at the site. All potential offerors are required to be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov/ All firms must identify the status of their firm as a large business, small business, small disadvantaged business, emerging small business, 8(a) business, woman owned business, or veteran owned business.
