Description

The United States Army Communications Electronics Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC), Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703 intends to procure Dismounted Battery Boxes (DBBs) for Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance Systems (LRAS3s). This effort is intended to be awarded on a sole source basis to Bren-Tronics, Inc., 10 Brayton Court, Commack, NY 11725 under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 23041(c)(1) - Only One Responsible Source - as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This award will be for a five-year, Firm-F ixed-Price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract for up to 6,713 Dismounted Battery Boxes (DBBs) for Long Range Advanced Scout Surveillance Systems (LRAS3s). This synopsis is provided for informational purposes and is not to be considered a req uest for proposal. However, all responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Solicitation Number W15P7T-08-R-P425 is assigned for reference purposes. The U.S. Army CECOM LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of Solicitation for Request for Proposals (RFP) Request for Quotations (RFQ) and Invitation for Bids (IFB) from CECOM LCMC to Industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM L CMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. A determination by the Governmentnot to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the Govern ments discretion. There will be no formal Request for Proposal(RFPs), or other information regarding this requirement.
