- The government intends on awarding a sole source acquisition to IHS Energy for the collection of gas and oil well data for the Rocky Mountain and Southern Mid-continent areas. The Government has a requirment to privide accurate, consistent, and uninterrupted data to continue to comply with the Indian Mineral Development act of 1982 and the Engery Policy Act of 2005. As such IHS Energy has been providing such services for period of 3 years for the Bureau of Indian affairs. Includes the continued subscription for the data formats used with the standard geological and engineering industry software. Used to support the BIA NIOGEMS software.
