- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport has a requirement for one Occupational Health Nurse, Registered in the State of Rhode Island. The individual in this position functions as an occupational and safety health medical professional and employee educator. They are responsible for providing direct patient care and perform other administrative and safety services as stipulated. A firm fixed price contract is anticipated and the term of fulfillment is 1 year with 4 additional option years. Award will be based on Best Value: Key Personnel and Price. The position is covered by wage determination provisions of the Service Contract Act. Solicitation N66604-08-Q-2737 will provide specifications and further details upon release on or about 31 March 2008. This solicitation is being issued on an unrestricted basis. Any prospective contractor must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR) in order to be eligible for award.
