- Description
- This notice is for potential offerors interested in signing up for fire and other incidents. The Department of Interior intends to issue a solicitation to obtain Tents/Canopies, for support of local, regional, and nationwide fire suppression, all hazard, and severity activities. Awards resulting from this Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be in the form of an Emergency Equipment Rental Agreements (EERA), which may be used by multiple state and federal agencies. The agreement will be Base Year with 2 Option Years. The Base Year is from date of award through December 31, 2008 with annual review and possibly two, one-year renewal extensions thereafter. In order to receive an EERA, vendors must respond to the solicitation when it is issued. This solicitation will be a total small business set-aside under NAICS Code 115310. The Small Business size standard for the Forest Fire Suppression is $16.5 Million. This solicitation will be available by electronic posting only and may be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov/ or http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation documents will be posted on or about March 20, 2008. To be considered for award, vendors must be registered, and must maintain an active registration in the Central Contractor Registration database found at http://www.ccr.gov.
