- Description
- Solicitation 8008-19 provides for Single Engine Air Tanker (SEAT) flight services, which are fully contractor operated and maintained, in support of the Bureau of Indian Affairs fire suppression programs at Albuquerque, NM and Omak, WA. The airplane will be based at Albuquerque Double Eagle Airport (AEG) 7 days per week approximately May 15 through July 9 and Omak (OMK) 7 days per week July 11 through September 17. The exclusive use period will be 125 calendar days. The contract period will be one year from date of award with a government unilateral option for three additional years. The contract requires a single turbine engine powered agricultural airplane with a payload of at least 799 US gallons of material weighing 7,351 pounds. The Contractor shall possess an Agricultural Aircraft Operations Certificate issued under 14 CFR Part 137. The anticipated issue date of the solicitation is March 21, 2008.
