- This is a synopsis for the purchase of Level I piston tail rods. Contractors are required to comply with MIL-I-45208. Level I requirements / markings apply; Level I material certifications are required. Piston tail rods, quantity 4 each, NI-AL-BRZ. Detailed drawing to be provided as an attachment to the request for quote. Delivery to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth N.H. 03801. FOB point is destination. Government source inspection is required. Electronic submission of quotes is not acceptable. Request for quotation will be available at the following: www.neco.navy.mil and www.fbo.gov on or about 21 Mar, 2008. This requirement is reserved as a 100% small business set aside, for which only companies with 500 or less employees are eligible
