- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number W31P4Q-08-T-0422 is being issued as a request for quote; however, the US Army Aviation and Missile Command intends to issue a sole source purchase order for Digitizer Memory Upgrade from Agilent Technologies Inc. (Cage Code 1LQK8) Englewood, CO. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command is requesting a quote of memory upgrade for a high speed digitizer system.The requirements are: Compatible with Acqiris DC282 High Spee d Digitizer; Capacity: 4 channels at 256 Mpoints/channel (10 bits); Speed: Operation at greater than 5000 Points/ 20 usec (250 MPoints/sec). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. This requirement includes the following items: CLIN 0001 is for a Digitizer Memory Upgrade. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or wee ks from award date. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropri ate for the dollar value of the award. Provision 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial; Provision 52.212-2, Evaluation Commercial items, The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offe r conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered; Clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commercial Items; Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial It ems; and Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items; Clause 252.232-7003 Electronic Submission of Payment Requests; Clause 252.212-7001 Contract Terms and Conditions; and Clause 52.2 32-7003 Army Electronic Invoicing Instructions, are applicable to this acquisition, other clauses may be included in the award if applicable. Payment will be made via Wide Area Workflow (WAWF) in accordance with DFARS 252.232-7003. Quotes are due no late r than 1:00, pm (CST), 15 April 2008, in the contracting office, Building 5400, Room B143, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama, 35898-5250. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
