- Description
- The Program Support Center, Strategic Acquisitions Service, Division of Acquisition Management, Department of Health and Human Services will be issuing an 8(a) competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) on behalf of the Administration of Children and Families (ACF) in order to obtain administrative and technical support for Head Start and Early Head Start grantees and Head Start Collaboration Directors in Region 10, Office of Head Start, located in Seattle, Washington. This requirement will support Federal staff with high-quality grants management services and provide prompt, accurate, seamless, and user-friendly assistance to Head Start and early Head Start grantees and head Start Collaboration Directors in Region 10. Support provided to better ensure enhanced customer service to Head Start and Early Head Start grantees will be provided in areas such as: Grant Tracking Systems, File Management, Monitoring Support, Public Inquiries, Funds Planning and Tracking, Grant Closeout Activities, Audit Resolution, Award and Administration of Grants, Customer and Administrative Support, Program Support, and Internal Systems Support. This is a Performance Based Acquisition which will result in a firm fixed price contract with a period of performance of one year and four, twelve month option periods. The anticipated release date of this solicitation will be on or about January 24, 2008. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available as the Federal Business Opportunities website provides downloading instructions. All future information concerning this solicitation, including modifications and amendments will also be distributed soley through this site. Potential Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure they have the most current information concerning this solicitation. The solicitation will be available electronically, no solicitations will be mailed. Contractors are encouraged to sign-up, on the fedbizopps.gov website, for email notification of all actions relevant to this solicitation, and on the interested vendors list, also listed at the bottom of this announcement. The Government anticipates award of a twelve (12) month contract, with an option to renew for four additional twelve (12) month periods, beginning on or about March 13, 2008.
