Description

The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) has a requirement for services for the rental, installation, operation, and subsequent removal of a Sound System for the 2009 Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the West Front of the United States Capitol Building. The Sound System shall be designed to provide high level reinforcement for speech and entertainment. The System is to be operational no later than 3:00 p.m. local time at Washington, D.C. on January 9, 2009, and remain in operation through 3:00 p.m. local time at Washington, D.C. on January 20, 2009. Each item of equipment used shall, on its own, be evaluated in accordance with the requirements of the Buy American Act. Offerors shall be firms with at least five years experience in assembling, installing, and operating the sound systems of magnitude and scope similar to those required for this project (outdoor coverage for approximately 300,000 people).</p> NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (02-APR-2008); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
