- Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division, Philadelphia intends to acquire the required LM2500 Gas Turbine Engine,quantity of 88, GE Part No. L31424G28, Blade HPT Stage 1 SST; quantity of 31, GE Part No. L31033G07, Nozzle HPT Stage 1 SST; quantity of 1, GE Part No. L31033G08, Nozzle HPT S-1 SST B/S and quantity of 3 GE Part No. L42842G05, Lube Oil Fittings by placing a firm fixed price order under Basic Order Agreement FA8104-05-G-0004 with General Electric Company, General Aircraft Engines Company of Cincinnati, OH. Theproposed contract action is for supplies for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the gov! ernment. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
