- The Great Lakes Acquisition Center (GLAC) is soliciting quotations to provide maintenance of kitchen equipment (to include: dishwashers, meat slicers, conveyors, etc.) at the VA Medical Center, Milwaukee, WI for the period of one year from the date of the award in accordance with all specifications, work statement, terms and conditions contained therein (with two one-year options exercised at the government's discretion). Anticipated award effective date is May 1, 2008. All qualified offerors/firms who believe they can satisfy the solicitation requirements are invited and encouraged to provide their quote. Offers, including options, shall be evaluated for fair and reasonable pricing, technical competency/capability to perform services and satisfactory past performance record. The Government anticipates award of a commercial item contract to the responsible offeror whose offer provides the best value to the Government. Contract type is firm-fixed price and is unrestricted. The size standard for North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 811310 is $6.5 Million. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. No telephone requests will be accepted. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
