- The South Texas Veterans Health Care System (STVHCS), 7400 Merton Minter Blvd., San Antonio, TX 78229 anticipates awarding an all-inclusive contract for hotel/motel lodging for beneficiaries of the STVHCS. NAICS Code is 721110; Size Standard is $6.5 million. This procurement is for full and open competition (Unrestricted). This procurement is being conducted IAW FAR Part 12, 13.5 Simplified Acquisition Procedures-Test Program and Part 15. Contractors facility must be located within a 5-mile radius of the hospital. Contractor will provide 6 Suites and 2 Handicapped Suites room, 365 days per year IAW with the solicitation requirements. The contract period is for one year from date of award with two (2) additional one-year options. The government intends to make a single award, but reserves the right to make multiple awards. The solicitation will be posted on or about April 2, 2008. Offers will be due April 25, 4:30 PM CST. No hard copies will be distributed. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at this URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. Signing up for the bidders list in FedBizOpps will automatically electronically provide you with any amendment notification to this solicitation. No fax or web-based proposals will be accepted. Offerors are reminded to address evaluation factors contained in 52.212-2 EVALUATIONCOMMERCIAL ITEMS (JAN 1999). The evaluation team will visit and evaluate each facility offered. Solicitation Number VA-257-08-RP-0133 shall be listed on the outside of offeror's proposal envelope for identification purposes. All questions shall be submitted in writing to the address/e-mail as identified in this announcement. Contractors are required to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database at www.ccr.gov prior to award; failure to comply will result in ineligibility for award.
