Description of Services: Replace the bearing of the B-1B Nacelle Link Assembly (Dog Bone); Remove damage, build-up and replace the bearing to fulfill the dimensional and surface finish requirements; Repair the items to a serviceable, but not necessarily like-new condition and to their latest configuration. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern.
