- (i) This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items/services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (ii) Solicitation of Purchase Request F73ARP8074A001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24. (iv) This acquisition is set aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 483211 and the small business size standards is 500. (vi) Line item 0001: Barge Services for removal of 22 pieces of equipment from Hemlock Bay on Annette Island, AK to Seattle Washington Port, 1 each, in accordance with (IAW) attached statement of work; Line item 0002: Transportation of 20ft Connex from barge to Emerald Inc in Seattle WA upon arrival in port, 1 each, in accordance with (IAW) attached statement of work; (vii) Barge needs to be available by 23 Jun 2008 for loading at the staging location. Equipment will be loaded at Hemlock Bay, Annette Island, Alaska; (viii) The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR clause 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition; FAR clause 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with the quote.
