- SOURCES SOUGHT - Laundry Services General Information Document Type: Sources Sought Notice Classification Code: S - Utilities and Housekeeping Services NAICS Code: 812320 - Laundry & Dry cleaning Services Contracting Office Address USPHS Navajo Area Indian Service, P. O. Box 9020, Hwy 264, Window Rock, Arizona 86515. ATTN: Division of Acquisition Management & Contracting, Room #19. Description Sources Sought Synopsis for Laundry & Dry cleaning Services at USPHS Navajo Area Indian Health Service medical facilities. SYNOPSIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. It is a market research tool being used to determine potential sources prior to determining the method of acquisition and issuance of a Request for Proposal. The Government is not obligated to and will not pay for information received from potential sources as a result of this synopsis. The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, labels, containers, tools, transportation and supervision necessary for performing laundry & dry cleaning services at NAIHS medical facilities located in the States of Arizona and New Mexico in accordance to CDC guidelines for laundry in health care facilities. Facilities range in size from 25 to 50-bed hospitals and produce an estimated total of 1,582,000 pounds of laundry, 10,850 lbs of finished work and 3,375 pounds of dry cleaning per year. Facilities requiring services are listed below. Daily pick-up and delivery are required. All of the contractor's equipment shall be equipped with proper safety devices and shall be in safe operating condition. There is no commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation, make an award, or be responsible for any monies expended by any interested parties in support of the effort mentioned above. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit or award a contract. If a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FebBizOpps) website, located at www.FedBizOps.gov. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of any follow-on information. This is a Sources Sought, and feedback from industry is also sought on our requirements as stated in this synopsis. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP). Interested parties are requested to submit a capabilities statement of no more than three (3) pages in length and demonstrate their ability to provide the requirements listed above. All data received in response to this source sought notice, marked or designated as corporate or propriety, will be fully protected from release outside the Government. The information may be faxed to ATTN: Priscilla Duncan, Telephone and other means of oral communication requesting information will not be permitted. The Government is not committed nor obligated to pay for the information provided; and, no basis for claims against the Government shall arise as a result of a response to this source sought.
