Description

The Regional Telecommunications Acquisition Services ( RTAS) procurement will provide local telephone services (includes analog and digital business and Centrex lines, PBX direct inward dial (DID) numbers, and associated Primary Rate Interface (PRI) trunks) for Federal Agencies in the city or cities identified in the Region 5 six state boundary where the offeror currently sells or resells local telecommunications services to commercial customers. The award areas will include locations currently served by the expiring Metropolitan Area Acquisition (MAA) and Regional Local Services Contracts (RLSC). The purpose of this amendment is to notify offerors of an extension to the due date of proposals. GSA is in the process of drafting changes to the above referenced RFP. An amendment to the RFP will be issued to provide further clarifications as a result of vendor questions. The amendment is expected to be issued within ten calendar days from the date of this notice. All proposals will be due 30 calendar days from the date of the release of the forthcoming amendment. This amendment also changes the amendment number to match FEDBIZOPPS as a result of the system upgrade.
