- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, a quote is being requested, and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is an intention to Sole Source. The items being purchased are renewal subscriptions for LabView software licenses for Optical Radiation Branch for the Air Force Research Laboratory. This is the only software that is compatible with other software that was developed researchers/technicians with the Optical Radiation Branch. Utilizing other software would not be cost effective to the government. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-24 (31 Mar 2008) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement change notice 20080331. It is the offeror's responsibility to be familiar with applicable clauses and provisions. Part No. is 930000-00 is for the purchase of 30 each, one year renewal subscription of LabView FDS Software licenses and 1 each, one year renewal subscription of LabView VDM Software license. The NAICS Code is 334119; size standard is 1000 employees. The type contract anticipated is firm-fixed price. A due date of offers will be 4:30 PM, Central Standard Time, 11 Apr 08.
