- NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT The 316th Contracting Squadron, Andrews AFB, Maryland, intends to negotiate a sole source contract Baker & Taylor located at 251 MT. Oliver Church Road, Commerce, GA 30599-2300 for a year lease of 1,000 books in inventory and a lease rate 50 books per month, 600 books per year with the right to keep five books for every twenty returned. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price using other than full and open competition procedures. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Any responses to this notice of contract action shall be submitted to Michael Y.
