- The United States Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Command (CECOM LCMC) intends to upgrade the Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radars (VADERs) Ground Station through a contract modification up to $4M. A Time and Materials line item will be included to provide the necessary services, personnel, material and equipment to Operate equipment, Conduct analysis, Design, develop and/or modify hardware and software, Conduct and or support test and demonstrations, Conduct maintenance/ repair of hardware, Procure hardware to include spares, Develop documentation and Ship/transport equipment as required. There will also be two (2) six month Option line items (1) Army Test Evaluation Command (ATEC) Testing and (2) Warfighter Exercises. The Vehicle and Dismount Exploitation Radar (VADER) is a radar sensor that is being developed for use with the Warrior unmanned Aerial Vehicle. The VADERs Ground Station is a collection of software from the VADER Program. This software analyzes data from the VADERssensors. The purpose of this action is to upgrade the VADERss Ground Station to ensure proper interfaces with existing battle support systems. This includes generation of a test plan and test reports and ensuring compatibility with existing battle support systems. The period of performance is from date of award through 30 January 2009. The Government announces its intent to issue a contract modification under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 (b) (1) Only OneResponsible Source to BAE, 6 New England Executive Park, Burlington, MA 01803. BAE is the only source that is developing the VADERs Ground Station. The Government does not possess a detailed Technical Data Package. NOTE: Solicitation Number W15P7T-08-R-P619 is for tracking purposes only. This synopsis is provided for informational purposes only and is not to be considered a request for proposal; however, all responsible sources that meet the above requirements may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Award of modification is anticipated to be issued on or about 19 May 2008. The U.S. Army C-E LCMC has established the IBOP website as part of the Armys Single Face to Industry, to allow electronic posting of solicitation for requests for proposals, request for quotations and invitation for bids from CECOM LCMC to Industry. All Parties interested in doing business with CECOM LCMC are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at https://abop.monmouth.army.mil. Drawings and/or links to drawings, if applicable, will be provided on the website.
