- Description
- The US Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) has a requirement for a Data Coordination Center for the US Army Institute of Surgical Research (USAISR). The anticipated period of performance is for a two-year period of 1-Aug-08 to 31-July-10. This Data and Coordinating Center (DCC) will provide the necessary infrastructure to conduct a collaborative trial to identify the optimal blood component resuscitation ratios for patients receiving massive transfusion. Up to twenty-five centers will participate in this study as part of the Multi-Center Consortium (MCC) to correlate transfusion practices and blood component ratios. These centers have already been collaborating on a retrospective review of this topic, and the DCC is required in order to advance to a prospective data collection phase. Evaluation Criteria are Technical Capability with the sub-factors of Personnel, Coordination of Consortium Components, Study Management and Monitoring, Past Experience, Data Management, Clinical Protocol Development and Human Subjects Protection, and Institutional Resources and Commitment; Past Performance; and Price.
