- This project is located at the FBI – Boise Wells Fargo Center, 877 West Main Street, Boise Idaho 83702 (Ada County) The General Services Administration (GSA) intends to issue a solicitation for a contractor to provide all tools, equipment, materials, labor and supervision and waste disposal necessary to accomplish the work of the project listed herein: Create Sensitive Compartmental Information Facility (FBI – SCIF). The solicitation will be transmitted via electronic format (E-mail) or U.S. mail. Access to the complete solicitation, specifications and drawings and (any) amendments to the solicitation will be made available within the solicitation package and available upon request to the Contracting Officer (Mr. Daniel S. Brazell) Phone: 509-353-0572, Fax: 509-353-2413, Email: Daniel.brazell@gsa.gov.. The solicitation number is #GS-10P-08-XC-C-0032. Request should be submitted to the Point of Contact (POC) indicated in this synopsis. The request should include the name of the contractor’s company, address, phone number, DUNS Number, the name and title of the requester, and email address. To be eligible for award, contractors must be registered and active within the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov. It is advised that if a contractor plans on performing work on any Federal or Government facility, that you register with CCR immediately. Contractors must be able to meet all Security Requirements/Clearances (as identified in the solicitation package). The North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) codes: 236220. Work shall be performed in strict accordance with specifications, drawings, and statement of work (identified in the solicitation package). Work associated with this requirement is subject to the Davis-Bacon Act. DOL General Construction Decision Number: ID080002, dated 02/08/2008 (ID2). Attendance at the site visit is highly recommended. The GSA (Boise) Project Manager, Mr. Kevin L. Meier (office phone: #208-334-9219 or cell phone #208-867-5240), located in Boise, Idaho. Anticipate a one time only site visit on Tuesday, 15 April 2008 at 10:30 a.m. (PST). Interested contractors should have a photo ID and meet in the site lobby (Boise Wells Fargo Center, 887 West Main Street, Boise Idaho). Order of Magnitude for this project is between $25,000.00 – $100,000.00. Solicitation will be issued: 04/07/2008 and close on 05/07/2008. Anticipated Award date is: 15 May 2008. Anticipated performance period is 30 days. Selection will be made based on cost/price, best value and contractor responsibleness (see elements in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 9.104-1 at http://www.arnet.gov/far). 100% Payment and Performance Bonds will be required. Certificate of Insurance will be required. This requirement is set-aside 100% small business; however, all responsible sources submitting an offer will be considered.
