- Description
- The Contractor shall provide Wire Rope meeting the following specifications: The Wire Rope shall be 1 3/8, 6X30, Flattened Strand, Stainless Steel 304, Right Regular Lay, IWRC. The wire rope shall meet Federal Specification RR-W-410E, and shall have a minimum breaking strength of 170,000 pounds.The wire rope shall be pre-stretched and delivered on six new steel spools with 2,800 of wire rope on each spool for a total of 16,800 of wire rope. Any length of wire rope used for test purposes shall bein excess of the 2,800 that shall be on the steel spools. The delivery date shall be no later than 15 September 2008.
