- Description
- The National Park Service issued a prospectus on March 10, 2008, for proposals to operate a gift shop and café at Muir Woods National Monument. A second site visit has been scheduled to take place Thursday, April 10, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. All interested parties should be at the Muir Woods entrance gate on Thursday, no later than 9:00 a.m. to participate in this site visit. The term of the new Concession Contract will be for ten (10) years. Any offer, including that of the existing Concessioner, must be received by the Concession Program Manager, National Park Service, Pacific West Region, 1111 Jackson Street, Suite 700, Oakland, California 94607 no later than ninety-two (92) days from March 10, 2008 in order to be evaluated and considered for award of a Concession Contract. The prospectus was issued on March 10, 2008, for a 92-day response period under the terms described in the prospectus, with proposals due on June 10, 2008, no later than 4:00 p.m. (Pacific Time). There is a printing cost recovery charge of $50 per copy to be delivered via Federal Express or $40 per copy if picked up in person. Checks or money orders (no cash or credit accepted) must be payable to the National Park Service; and you must include a business address (no post office box) to receive a Federal Express package.
