- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, R. L. Roudebush VA Medical Center located at 1481 W. Tenth Street, Indianapolis, Indiana 46202, intends to award a contract to install new warning labels on all electrical panels per (NFPA 70E) within Bldg 1, and all outbuildings of the VA Medical Center. The contractor shall provide all tools, equipment, material, labor, and supervision necessary. Contractor shall utilize completed study of electrical panels, which identifies the labeling requirements. Contractor shall utilize a certified (Electrical) Professional Engineer as a staff member to validate all panel information provided prior to affixing the required labels. The warning labels shall meet the following criteria: (a) NFPA 70: 110.76 (b) FPN No. 1: NFPA 70E-2004 (c) FPN No. 2: ANSI Z535.4-1998. Labels shall read. "WARNING" and shall be orange or predominantly orange with lettering or symbols in a contrasting color.This procurement is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside; all qualified, responsible sources may submit an offer that shall be considered by the agency. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 238210 and its size standard of $13.0 million apply. The solicitation shall be made available on or about April 8, 2008 with a due date of May 7, 2008. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/ Dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA will provide no hard copies. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments. The resulting contract shall be awarded to the offeror who provides the most fair and reasonable price to the Government. The term of the contract shall be 120 days from issuance of the notice to proceed. No telephone request will be accepted.
