Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation FA4877-07-Q-0295 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-18. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS set-aside under NAICS code 423830 and small business size standard of 100 employees. Description: 0001: Ultralite Assault Ladder Kit. Access can be achieved to a maximum of 22 feet. Can be used to clear walls and to gain access to second and third story windows. Comes with 16.ft. Assault Ladder Pole New 3/4" diameter, custom 20 foot Ultralite Urban Assault Ladder, Ladder Hook with Kevlar Sling, screwlock attachment delta link and storage bags. Weight 3 lb. 6 oz. Mfg.: Yates P/N: 1789 or equal. QTY: 10 EA. 0002: Special Ops Ladders. These state-of-the-art cable ladders use Technora heat resistant high tenacity fiber as the cable portions of the ladder. Molded in place steps from Verton RF-700-12 EM, which is a Nylon 6.6, 60% long-glass-fibre-reinforced composite. Rung are individually proof load tested to 600 lbf. Minimum strength of ladder cable rope is 5600 lbf. Comes with deployment bag. 10 meters. Mfg.: Yates P/N: 527 or equal. QTY: 10 EA.
