Description: This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format is Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Issued as a Request for Quotations (RFQ). The reference number is 08THOIST. The anticipated award will be a firm fixed price contract. The award will be based on best value to the government, lowest price technically acceptable. This solicitation document shall incorporate provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-24. This is a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 811310. The size standard is $6,500,000.00. The contractor shall provide the following items: 0001- Perform inspection, maintenance, testing and certification of hoists and cranes IAW PWS-not attached-please contact for copy1 Lot 0002- Perform inspection, maintenance, testing and certification of automotive lifts IAW PWS-not attached-please contact for copy1 Lot 0003- Provide repairs to hoist, cranes, and/or automotive lifts IAW PWS and as approved by inspector/QAENTE 100 Hr 0004- Reimbursement for parts/material IAW PWS and as approved by inspector/QAE1 Lot 0005- Cost for 2nd Hoist Load Test2 Each 0006- Cost for 2nd Crane Load Test2 Each 0007- Cost for 2nd Automotive Load Test2 Each Please include Payment Terms, FOB Destination, Quote Must Be Valid Through 1 Oct 08, Availability, and Period of Performance. Contractor must be able to start work immediately upon award. The provisions in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, is applicable to this solicitation. The following addenda is provided to provision 52.212-1; RFQ must contain solicitation number, time specified for receipt, CAGE and DUNS number, Tax ID, offerors name, address, telephone, terms of warranty, quantity, unit price, total price, and any discounts. Offerors shall include with their quotes, a completed copy of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items at website http://orca.bpn.gov/; if Representations and Certifications have been completed, provide DUNS code.
