Description

The Department of Commerce, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with KDM Analytics, Inc., Ottawa, CAN with a base period of twelve months and two twelve month option periods under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) to provide “Software Assurance Metrics and Tool Evaluation,” a mathematical formulation of descriptions for software. NIST has performed extensive recent market research, including a recent sources sought notice in www.fbo.gov, and has not been able to identify any other capable sources. Interested parties that can clearly and unambiguously demonstrate their capability shall respond to this notice and provide written evidence of such capability. This notice is not a request for proposals. Inquires will only be accepted via email to sandra.shaffner@nist.gov. All information received by 10:00 a.m., EST, 4/15/08 will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government whether to compete this proposed acquisition will be based on responses to this notice; such determination is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone requests will be honored.
