- Description
- The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) is soliciting for Contractor to provide necessary labor, material, supplies, equipment and supervision for the performance of full time Administrative Clerical Services. Disciplines and services required may include, but not limited, to a General Clerk III position for typing letters, memorandums, forms using Word for Widows; respond to priority non-routine work orders and other word processor tasks; create, manipulating, maintaining and analyzing spreadsheets and databases using Excel and Access; provide receptionist, faxing and copier/duplicating functions; receive and direct calls to Government personnel within the facility; take and distribute phone messages and answer general questions; file documents; sorting and distributing incoming mail; address and mail packages and correspondence; receive service requests from building tenants, relay them to proper building maintenance personnel; receive and confirm conference room reservation requests; process necessary paperwork for security clearance for contractors; process paperwork pertaining to the transmittal of financial documents; maintaining a current Procedures Manual; create open authorizations in the E2 travel system; maintain inventory of office supplies and orders as needed; prepare newsletters, bulletins, flyers, etc using MS-Publisher; communicating with personnel of judicial, law enforcement, other government agencies and public; set-up Audio-Visual conference equipment, etc. The performance of work is within the geographic borders of Franklin County, State of Ohio, Columbus Field Office, Room 607, John W. Bricker Federal Building, 200 North High Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Also, performance may involve work for Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse, 85 Marconi Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio 43604; U.S. Courthouse, Toledo, Ohio 43624, the Customhouse and the lease management. Only one (1) position is required under this contract. The total duration of the contract is five (5) years. The base contract will be one-year period with a provision for four one-year period options. The amount payable under this contract is based on quoted price for furnishing all labor and transportation necessary to provide administrative services for the Basic Services and Additional Services Hourly Rates during the base period and each one-year period. The Government will award a contract resulting from a solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and provides the best value to the Government base on the evaluation factors. The evaluation factors are total evaluated price and past performance. Past performance is significantly more important than price. The past performance reference contacted will be evaluated with a rating which in turn will be translated into a numerical score of five (5) for excellent, four (4) for very good, three (3) satisfactory, two (2) marginal, one (1) unsatisfactory, and neutral (0) for not submitting relevant past performance references. The estimated financial range is between $50,000 and $100,000. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is R699, the North American Industrial Classification Systems (NAICS) codes are 561110 (Office Administrative Services) with Industry Small Business Size Standard of $6.5 million and 51320 (Secretarial Clerical Services) with an Industry Small Business Size Standard of average annual gross revenue of the concern in the amount of $12.5 million for the last 3 fiscal years. The procurement is open to all businesses. The solicitation will be available on or April 16, 2008.
