Description

Air Force Research Laboratory, Materials and Manufacturing Directorate, Manufacturing Technology Division (AFRL/RXM ) solicits research proposals dealing with the development and application of advanced aircraft modeling and simulation techniquest to improve the operation and maintenance of aerospace systems. This acquisition is being contemplated to enable the development of computational techniques for materials' microstructural deformation models, refinement of advanced characterization tools and development of computational simulation techniques. These models and tools will provide vital information on the failure modes of various material systems as they relate to operational weapon systems components.
