Description: "The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within twelve days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement”. This procurement, N40443-08-T-2046, is to provide services to adjust, repair or replace defective components of the listed Naval Automation Group (NAG) tank level indicator (TLI) instruments installed onboard; for the services of an authorized original equipment manufacturer to provide parts and services necessary in order to bring the TLI instruments into fully operational conditions for the USNS BRIDGE T-AOE 10. Substitute materials will not be accepted. The repaired system must be fully warranted. Only written (fax or E-Mail) requests will be accepted. Contractors offering in response to this notice shall ensure registration in the Central Contractor Registration Database prior to submission for consideration.
