Description

The purpose of this amendment is to answer a question relating to the intended use of the fuel cell system. The question posed is as follows: "Would you be able to tell us what the fuel system would be providing back up power for?  What type of system(s) you would be backing up, the building's (lab's) electrical power or are they testing to backup some other power supply?" The answer to the question is as follows: "The fuel cell system will be the subject of the laboratory tests.  It will not actually be backing up any equipment, but it will be operated to backup a load that will be simulated with a programmable DC load bank.  The DC load bank’s capacity is 6000 Watts, nominally." All terms and conditions of the solicitation, including the response date of April 17, 2008, remain unchanged.
