Description
This United States Postal Service has issued Request for Proposal #4AUTIL-08-A-0002 for an Enterprise Energy Management System (EEMS). This Request for Proposal has been issued to the following eght (8) pre-approved suppliers and is hereby, posted to FedBizOpps to notify the supplier community of a potential subcontracting opportunity for this requirement. Please note that proposals will not be accepted from any supplier that is included on this short list. Duszynsk414-791-4234 mark.m.duszynski@jci.com Lockheed Martin=Joseph CampbellNo NumberWilliam.robbins@lmco.com Prenova- Kathy Montgomery 678-581-8225'kmontgomery@prenova.com' Seimens- Natasha Shah703-262-8461'natasha.shah@siemens.com' The scope of this Request for Proposal (RFP) includes the purchase and installation of the EEMS at a designated group of Postal Service facilities and includes providing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, meters, hardware, software, remote monitoring and incidentals required for a fully integrated EEMS solution. The primary functions and responsibilities of the EEMS solution include but are not limited to the following: 1. Connecting to USPS facilities to obtain energy/utility consumption and sub-meter data for major systems; 2. Consolidating all energy/utility related data into a centralized data (EEMS) repository 3. Interfacing with existing USPS Enterprise systems (UMS, eFMS) to obtain and record critical energy and building data; 4. Providing local and remote monitoring of energy dashboards via a password controlled web site; 5. Creating and maintaining energy management reporting system Measurement of building equipment and systems performance; 6. Sub-metering of major energy consuming equipment and systems within the building as necessary to identify problems and measure performance Interested sub-contractors are advised to contact the above listed suppliers directly to discuss potential subcontracting opportunity. The date set for the receipt of Proposals is scheduled for Close of Business (4pm EST) on Friday April 25, 2008.
