- Description
- A Qualified HUBZone SBC receiving a HUBZone contract for general construction must spend at least 50% of the cost of the contract incurred for personnel on its own employees or employees of other qualified HUBZone SBCs. This requirement may be met by expending at least 50% of the cost of the contract incurred for personnel on its employees or it may subcontract at least 35% of the cost of the contract performance incurred for personnel to one or more qualified HUBZone SBCs. A qualified HUBZone SBC prime contractor may not, however, subcontract more than 50% of the cost of the contract incurred for personnel to non-qualified HUBZone SBCs. PROJECT DETAILS: This project will consist of grading and drainage on 0.667 miles of roadway for NM ERFO 28(1), Gilita Creek Road, in Gila National Forest, Catron County, New Mexico. The estimated price range for this solicitation is $1 to $2 million. Principal work items on the largest schedule include: lump sum construction survey and staking; lump sum contractor testing; 4300 ln ft silt fence soil erosion control; 3,600 sq yd of clearing and grubbing; 8,000 cu yd of embankment construction; 57 cu yd of class 2 placed riprap; 2,100 sq yd of galvanized or aluminized coated revet mattress; 2,120 ln ft of ditch reconditioning; 2,000 tons of method 2 roadway aggregate; 2,600 ln ft of pipe culvert (various size); 1,100 sq yd of dry method seeding; 1,100 sq yd of dry method mulching; lump sum temporary traffic control; along with associated removal of structures and obstructions; equipment and labor.
