- The Space and Naval Warfare SystemsCenter (SPAWARSYSCEN), Charleston,Code 741 (Advanced Law EnforcementTechnology Branch), is seekinginformation on Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) Deployable Electric PowerGenerators suitable for emergencyresponse. Diesel or gasoline-poweredgenerators of at least 40 kW and up to300 kW output are the subject of thisrequest. The Department of HomelandSecurity (DHS) Authorized EquipmentList (AEL) item number for thisequipment is 10GE-00-GENR. Thetarget audience for this information isthe emergency responder communityand all submittals should be suited totheir specific needs.Review of this information is beingperformed for DHS, Federal EmergencyManagement Agency, Systems SupportDivision. DHS established the SystemAssessment and Validation forEmergency Responders (SAVER)Program to conduct comparativeassessments and validation activitiesthat provide the emergency respondercommunity with information onimportant products and services. Visitthe SAVER Program Web site athttps://saver.fema.gov for moreinformation on the SAVER Program.All information received will be treatedas public knowledge and may be usedin SAVER Program documentation;therefore, vendors should not submitproprietary information in response tothis RFI. Specific information soughtincludes:1. Company information,including name, address, URL,revenue, and number of employees.2. Whether the company is amanufacturer or distributor.3. A point of contact for follow-up information, and the point ofcontacts phone number and e-mailaddress.4. Product name and a briefdescription (75 words or less).5. Cost information such aspurchase price and General ServicesAdministration (GSA) scheduleinformation.The submitted information will beevaluated for inclusion in SAVERprojects and reports. Determination asto an individual products suitability willbe made by SPAWARSYSCENCharleston based on the objectives ofthis request.
