Description
Below is a list of answers to the questions asked by potential offerors. 1. What is the nature of the business conducted by the Immigration and Customs Enforcement Officers while in Canada? Government Officials conduct Official Government Business which includes attending meetings/conferences and conduct law enforcement activities in conjunction with other US and Non US Government Officials. 2. What Limit of Liability coverage is being requested for Canada? $2M Liability Coverage. 3. Approximate average daily miles driven in Canada by each vehicle? The Michigan Office averages 1-50 miles daily. The New York Offices averages 51-100 miles daily. The Massachusetts Office averages over 101 miles daily. 4. What Canadian provinces are the vehicles used in? Quebec and Ontario 5. What insurance company currently insures the Canadian Liability? Marsh Canada Limited 6. What is the current Liability limit? $2M 7. If currently insured, is the carrier renewing the coverage? Coverage will not be renewed. 8. Any auto claims from driving in Canada with any of the vehicles in the past 5 years? The Government can provide a Loss Run Report which was provided by the previous Company for the last year. This report shows no losses. If yes, can you provide the details with an insurance company loss report? For a copy of this report please email me with your request. 9. Can you provide a schedule of the vehicles to include - Year / Make / Model /VIN # Yes, a schedule can be provided. For a copy please email me with your request. 10. Will you provide the insurance carrier with a current drivers list including Name/Date of Birth/ and State Drivers License Number? No, this information will not be provided. The drivers of the referenced vehicles change often. All drivers are licensed in their respective states. 11. Are these vehicles self-insured by the US Government while they are driven in the United States? Yes, the Government is Self Insured. 12. Do drivers have the authority to make arrests or carry civilians? Yes, but that is not the Government's nature of business while in Canada. 13. Do the drivers carry weapons? Yes, some of the Agents are licensed to carry a weapon on duty.
