Description
RFP# 2008-N-10360 “Influenza Hemagglutination Inhibition Serologic Testing” Contractor shall, independently, and not as an agent of the Government, furnish all management, labor, facilities, materials (except as specified herein), supplies and equipment necessary to perform, testing of human serum samples by HI testing using standard techniques to test for antibody against human influenza virus antigens. During each year of the contract, the Government estimates that the contractor shall be required to test 1,200 - 4,000 samples; and, each sample will be tested for four to eight (4-8) antigens plus positive and negative controls. CDC will provide these samples to the contractor in batches of varying sizes, up to 600 samples per batch. All samples within a single batch of samples shall be tested together in the same test run to ensure comparability of results between samples. Virus antigens and positive and negative control sera for each antigen will be supplied by the CDC. Testing shall be completed within sixty (60) days of contractor receipt of specimens and antigens. An indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract for the base year and four option years is anticipated, not to exceed sixty (60) months. RFP 2008-N-10360 will be available on or about May 1, 2008. Full and Open competition will be used in soliciting offers for this requirement. This requirement is not set-aside for small business. The NAICS Code is 621511. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The scheduled solicitation due date will be approximately thirty (30) days after the posting of the solicitation. The solicitation will be made available through the internet at: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. Any amendments issued to the solicitation will also be made at the same website.
