Description

DSCC is soliciting for an Indefinite Quantity Contract for 34 NSNs. The solicitation is expected to issue on or about 28 March 2008. DSCC does not possess any of the drawings or specifications required to manufacture these items. Currently, the only approved manufacturing source for these items is Texas Instruments (82647). While price will be a significant evaluation factor, past performance history, delivery and other evaluation factors will also apply. All responsible offerors are invited to submit an offer which will be evaluated. The anticipated value of this contract is $3,269,066.15 for the base period plus 4 option periods. The total anticipated contract length is 5 years if all option periods are exercised. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with acquisition procedures outlined in FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items). The scope of this acquisition is as follows: In addition to those NSNs specified in Section B of this solicitation, the scope of this contract includes all DLA and DOD managed NSNs for which one, any, or all of the following is/are approved source: Texas Instruments (82647). NSNs within the scope may be added to this initiative or any resulting contract at a later date in accordance with clause I16C04 ? Addition/Deletion of Items. This solicitation will be posted on the DSCC Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS) upon official issuance.
