Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FedBizOpps is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the Internet, NECO is the alternative in case FedBizOpps is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the NSWC Crane Division. You may also access information on the NSWC Crane Division web site at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm.Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane Division has a requirement for Band Suppression YIG Tuned Dual Notch Filters manufactured in conformance with Raytheon source control drawing G277054, and revised IAW a statement of work (SOW). The Navy intends to award a five year, firm fixed price, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) supply type contract, with a minimum of six (6) and a maximum of fifty (50) production YIG Filters. A quantity of five (5) First Article units is required. The solicitation will be issued on a full and open competition basis with those offerors possessing a minimum of a confidential clearance. YIG technology is not mandatory for these units. New technology is acceptable if proven out. Delivery is FOB Destination 12 months or less after contract award. First Article units are required and will not be counted as part of the production quantity. Inspection and Acceptance of production units is at Crane NSWC. Units must have the capability of repair or upgrade. All changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be posted to Crane web site, FedBizOpps and NECO. It is the responsibility of interested vendors to monitor the Crane web site, FedBizOpps and/or NECO for amendments that may be issued to this solicitation. For changes made after the closing date, only those offerors that provide a proposal will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award utilizing other than full and open competition procedures.
