Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore District, intends to negotiate, on a sole source basis, under authority of FAR 6.302-1, with Weston Solutions, of West Chester, PA, an increase not to exceed $550,000 for the ceiling for contract W912DR-05-D-0022. The increase is necessary to award necessary modifications to existing task orders at the following locations: Defense Supply Center, Philadelphia (DSCP), Philadelphia, PA Continue support to the Environmental Office to implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) at DSCP, as well as provide support for the Restoration Advisory Board and environmental assistance to the Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC) office. Defense Distribution Susquehanna Pennsylvania (DDSP), NewCumberland, PA Under Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) Act 2 Guidance, Continue Quarterly, Semi-Annual, and Annual Groundwater Sampling until there is an approved Final Report. Spring Valley Formerly Used Defense Site (FUDS), Washington, DC Geotechnical Investigation of Potential MEC/CWM Sites, Spring Valley FUDS, Washington, DC, Reprocess the Geophysical data obtained in Fiscal Year 2007 based upon a new prioritization memorandum. Former Raritan Arsenal, Edison, NJ Perform additional sampling at the Former Raritan Arsenal, NJ. In addition to the above sites, unforeseen conditions may require the Government to modify ongoing task orders at other locations. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responses received within 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
