- NSN 4330-01-408-7026, Filter Element, Fluid. I/A/W Filter Technology (3KUY8) part number CWP20A40PEP; United Filters, Inc. (77807) part number UPDN20R40PE and Advanced Filtration Separation Div.(9Z448) part number U20-AW40U-EC1U. The estimated yearly quantity is 15,392. The unit of issue is each. All responsible sources may submit an offer/quote which shall be considered. The subject requirement is for acquisition of 1 NSN for multiple end items. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 4330. See notes 1, 9 and 26. The requirement will result in an award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for which delivery orders may be place for one (1) year. The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on or about 20 Apr 08 at https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/RFP/. The scope of this contract includes the acquisitioning for a 1C code and part number item. This AMSC code implies that the part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. The delivery for this acquisition will be on an FOB Destination basis. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period four times at the discretion of the Government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 4 years. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside using full and open competition after exclusion of sources.
