Description
Naval Sea Systems Command, Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2E) will be hosting a Pre-solicitation Conference (Industry Day). The intent of the Industry Day is to provide additional information on the potential AN/SLQ-32(V) Surface Electronic Warfare (EW) System Block 2 Upgrade. Further, the contents of the Draft AN/SLQ-32(V) Surface Electronic Warfare (EW) System Block 2 Upgrade Statement of Objectives (UNCLAS) and the Draft Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Increment II Capabilities Development Document (CDD) (SECRET) will be discussed. The Navy may also address questions and comments submitted under the terms of Pre-solicitation notice N0002408R5372 and modifications 1 and 2. The Industry Day will take place on Wednesday 23 April, 0800 to 1600 EDT, at the Naval Research Laboratory (Building 226). Registration will start at 0730. The classification of this meeting will be SECRET. The minimum clearance level for all participants will be SECRET. Participation will be by RSVP only. All participants must FAX a visit request to Helen Crosby at 202-404-7690. Verification of fax receipt may be obtained by calling 202-767-5933. Visit Requests must be submitted whether you already have one on file with NAVSEA or not. The purpose of this visit request is to establish the list of participants (RSVP list) for this Industry Day only. Walk-ins will not be accepted on 23 April 2008. No more than 5 participants from any one company (or division of large company will be accepted). The Navy will accept Primary and Alternate participants on the visit request but the 5 participant quota limit will be enforced on Industry Day. Visit requests must be received b! y COB, 16 April 2008. Additionally, please notify Mr. John Butto at john.butto@navy.mil of your companys intent to attend. Further questions, if any, may be directed to John Butto. The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept, proposals as a result of this synopsis. If a solicitation is issued in the future, it will be announced via FedBizOpps/NECO and interested parties must comply with that announcement. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any questions submitted or information provided as a result of this notice, or for attendance at the pre-solicitation conference.
