- The US Army Corps of Engineers, New Orleans District, is hosting a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Industry Day. In general, the following information will be discussed: Information on USACE, New Orleans District's upcoming SDVOSB procurement opportunities - Discussion with SDVOSBs on their capabilities - Assistance on marketing strategy to USACE. This Industry Day will be held on Wednesday, 23 April 2008, 9:00 am until 12:00 pm, at the New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway, 3838 N. Causeway, Metairie, LA 70002. Registration for this event will be available at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/ebs/SDVET/index.asp. Fill in your company name and e-mail address, attendee name, company address, capability statement, to include whether you are a SDBOSB, and your bonding capacity. USACE, New Orleans District, is especially interested in Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business capabilities as they apply to construction related services and your company's bonding capacity for construction contracts.
