- Description
- The Bureau of Land Management, Alaska State Office in Anchorage, Alaska is soliciting pricing quotes for a contractor to provide one (1) each earth moving type dozer equivalent in size and specifications to a John Deere 450 HLGP for use for deferred trail maintenance within the BLM Glennallen District grounds near Glennallen, Alaska. The contractor will deliver the dozer to the Swede Lake Trailhead which is located at mile post 16.5 on the south side of the Denali Highway on July 14th, 2008. The equipment will be off-loaded by the contractor at this site. The contractor will pick-up the dozer on August 12th, 2008 at the Middle Fork Trailhead which is located at mile post 169.5 Richardson Highway. No operators will be included in this requirement as the Government will provide a certified heavy equipment operator(s) to operate the dozer during the rental period. Fuel, lubricants, and related items will be provided by the Government. However, the contractor will be required to provide the equipment in fully operable condition, and with zero outstanding maintenance at time of delivery, with full fuel tank(s). The Government will return the equipment to the contractor at time of pick-up with full fuel tank(s), lubricants, and related fluids. Pricing proposal shall include a lump sum cost for the delivery, drop-off, rental period, pick-up, and transportation from and to the sites identified within the solicitation. Award will be based on total overall lowest price to provide all services and equipment as identified within the solicitation statement of work/specifications. The solicitation for this requirement is numbered LAQ081022 and is a 100% total small business set-aside. The closing date of this solicitation is April 22, 2008 at 2:00pm.
