- Description
- The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Detention and Removal Operations (DRO) has a requirement for facility maintenance services, including janitorial service, facility preventative maintenance and repair, landscaping and ground maintenance, trash removal, disposal service, on-call emergency repairs, pest control, and HVAC maintenance services at the Batavia Service Processing Center (SPC) located in Batavia, New York. The NAICS code for this requirement is 561210 ($32.5M). The projected date for issuance of the solicitation is on or about April 28, 2008. The Solicitation will be available on the Federal Business Opportunity (FedBizOpps) site only. ICE intends to procure on an 8(a) competitive basis. The government anticipates a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) and Time and Materials (T&M) contract for a period of performance of one base year and four one-year options. The anticipate award date is August 7, 2008. All questions concerning this solicitation must be directed in writing via email to carmen.rios1@dhs.gov. No questions or inquiries will be accepted by telephone. The distribution of the resulting solicitation will be accomplished solely through the FedBizOpps website. Hard copies of the solicitation documents will not be available; therefore, no written, telephone, or facsimile requests for the documents will be accepted. The FedBizOpps site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including the solicitation and any amendments, will be distributed solely through the FedBizOpps site.
