- This is an annual synopsis of repair basic ordering agreement (BOA) N00104-08-G-A754 with Johnson's Ship Propeller & Boating Center, Chesapeake, VA and serves as the pre-solicitation synopsis for all repair orders issued by the NAVICP for the period 2008 April 04 thru 2009 April 03 for the evaluation and repair of Navy Propellers and associated items.Individual orders exceeding $25,000.00 will be synopsized pursuant to FAR subpart 5.3. Orders issued under this BOA and pursuant to this synopsis will be issued pursuant to 10 USC 2304(c)(1) because the Government does not currently possess the data necessary to compete the items solicited hereunder. Johnson's Ship Propeller & Boating Center is one of only six companies that currently possesses the necessary equipment, capability, capacity, tooling, facilities and in-depth knowledge necessary to repair propellers of varied complexity, size and design for combatant and auxiliary ships. Guidance in NAVICP solicitation language identified as LA27LN, Alternative Products Offered, applies to companies expressing an interest in supplying these items.
