- The Northern Region Contracting Center Leavenworth, 600 Thomas Ave, Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027 intends to issue a solicitation for asphalt repairs. The NAICS for this project is 237310. The place of contract performance is Fort Leavenworth, KS 66027. The resulting contract will be firm-fixed price contract. The basic period of performance will be based on the number of optional items exercised and is anticipated to begin June 2, 2008 and end June 1, 2009. The magnitude of the project is between$5,000,000 and $10,000,000. 0001. Base requirement Repair South portion of Grant Ave from Cody Ave to Metropolitan Ave; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, sidewalks touching curb, modify all handicap curb ramps meeting latest design. 0002. Base requirement Repair Base of Roads if required anywhere on these projects by replacing 6 existing base materials with new 6 AB-3. 0003. Base requirement Repair HancockAve from Biddle to Exit Gate; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, sidewalks touching curb, modify all handicap curb ramps meeting latest design. 0004. Base requirement Repair Hancock Cemetery Area Road; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters. 0005. Base requirement Repair Hancock Prison Area Road; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt. 0006. Base requirement Repair Biddle Blvd from Organ to Kansas Ave; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, sidewalks touching curb, modify all handicap curb ramps meetinglatest design. 0007. Optional requirement Repair Kansas Ave from Grant to PX Entry; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, sidewalks touching curb, modify all handicap curb ramps meeting latest design. 0008. Optional requirement Repair Harney Gym Parking Areas & Bowling Area Road; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, seal cracks. 0009. Optional requirement Repair Harbord from Grant to Bullard & Ligget Ave from Harbord to King; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, modify all handicap curb ramps meeting latest design. 0010. Optional requirement Repair Base of Roads if required anywhere on these projects by replacing 6 existing base materials with new 6 AB-3. 0011. Optional requirement Repair Kickapoo from Sheridan to New RCF Construction Line; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt. 0012. Optional requirement Repair Wainwright Road from Sheridan to Hunt Lodge Parking Areas; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt. 0013. Optional requirement Repair Airfield for Crack sealing. 0014. Optional requirement Repair McPherson Ave from East End of Old USDB to West Warehouse Road; remove 6 inch asphalt and replace by new 6 asphalt, remove and replace existing curb and gutters, curb inlet storm drainage, sidewalk touching curb, modify allhandicap curb ramps meeting latest design. This requirement is subject to the availability of funds. The base requirements are funded at this time. The optional requirements will be exercised as funding becomes available. This Invitation for Bid (IFB)will be posted under Solicitation Number W91QF4-08-B-0003. The anticipated date for posting of the IFB is April 29, 2008. The point of contact is Carmen E.
