Description

This is a Notice of Intent to award a sole source Purchase order modification to Nextel Communications for Cellular phone service on a firm fixed price basis. This is a follow on to an existing purchase order. The contractor is required to support more than 600 Government furnished cellular phones. Any and all services offered must be compatible with the existing phones. The proposed sole source is the only known source that can satisfy the Government’s complete requirement. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities to perform the requirements in writing to the identified point of contact no later than April 30, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Eastern Time Zone. Your response must demonstrate your firm’s capabilities and experience. Information provided will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort with full and open competition, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. No RFP will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
