- Description
- The Army Contracting Agency-Southern Region, Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting intends to release a solicitation to lease a contractor-owned and operated Construcciones Aeronuticas, S.A. (CASA) 212 or equivalent aircraft to perform flight service to conduct military static line or freefall services at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. This action will be conducted as a commercial service acquisition in accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13.5. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition under fulland open competition. This requirement will have a period of performance that begins 1 May 2008 through 30 April 2009 with four (4) 1-year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 481219, Other Nonscheduled Air Transportation. The small business size standard is $6.5M. The Government anticipates issuing a Request for Quotes (RFQ), W91247-08-T-0033, on or about 18 April 2008 with a tentative closing date of 25 April 2008. The RFQ and amendments will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. All Offerors must be registered with the Central Contractors Registry (CCR) per FAR 52.204-7, Central Contractor Registration.
