Description

Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS) is the management and operations prime contractor to the Department of Energy (DOE) / National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) for the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL or Laboratory). LANS is preparing an RFP to seek a developer who has the ability to design, finance, construct, lease and operate a facility that LANL has named the Los Alamos Science Complex (Science Complex). The Science Complex is projected to consist of three (3) new facilities: 1) an unclassified building to be used for Class “B” offices and light laboratories and to include a 500 seat, single-use, unclassified auditorium; 2) a limited area, secure building to be used for Class “B” offices and light laboratories; and 3) a parking garage. The Science Complex will be located in Los Alamos County, New Mexico on federal land controlled by the NNSA, and leased to the successful Developer.
